Discover the benefits of interactive cat toys

Anyone who's had a cat for very long knows that they are natural predators. They have an instinctive desire to hunt and kill prey, especially birds.  Feather toys are a safe - and popular - alternative! Some feather toys like our Feather Balls, Cat Rattles, Wild
Wobbler and Mousebirds are suitable for solitary play or chase and fetch games.  To keep your kitty more interested in her toys, keep some toys put away and switch out her toys every few weeks. She'll think she's got brand new toys!

Interactive play, where you spend time playing with your cat, encourages your cat to play longer and more vigorously, which is good for his health. Wand toys help keep your fingers safe from sharp teeth and claws - hands should only be for petting, not for attacking! Using different motions, such as dragging the toy along the floor and then waving it in the air, will help keep your cat interested.  And be sure to let your cat "catch" the toy sometimes - it's frustrating if the prey always gets away! Try toys like Da Bird, Feather Wands or Peacock Feathers for interactive play - you're likely to have more fun than your cat! And isn't companionship the whole reason you got a cat in the first place?

All of the feather toys featured in this newsletter are marked down 20% at CatClaws.Com - our deepest discount of the year! Don't delay - sale ends July 21st.
